It is the leading cause of death in young people, and yet suicide is a subject people find very difficult to talk about. Mum of three, Helen, explains the language we should be using when talking to young people about suicide, the signs which might help us spot someone who is contemplating suicide, what we might say to someone who has expressed suicidal thoughts and what we can do as adults to prevent young people from taking their own lives.
